Mary-Kathryn has a master’s degree in social work from Baylor University. She specializes in interpersonal practice with adolescents and adults. She holds a BA in Psychology and a JD in Civil Law from Louisiana State University and LSU Law. Mary-Kathryn has been a LMSW for 2 years.

Mary-Kathryn meets her clients with kindness and compassion and wants to empower them toward positive change. Working from a strengths perspective, Mary-Kathryn wants to encourage her clients to deepen their understanding of themselves and their lives to gain insight and needed skills for the future. Mary-Kathryn incorporates a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities into her sessions with clients. Mary-Kathryn is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and is currently undergoing training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Mary-Kathryn is a Licensed Master of Social Work, LMSW (License Number: 111901), pursuing clinical licensure in the State of Texas. She is under the supervision of Faith Larson, LCSW-S who provides her with clinical oversight to ensure she is providing the best possible services to her clients. Mary-Kathryn can work with clients who have United Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. She is also able to provide a sliding scale rate for private pay clients.
